Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBotWe are currently running a study on the effects of adding additional information to SuggestBot's suggestions. Participation in the study is voluntary. Should you wish to not participate in the study, or have questions or concerns, you can find contact information on the SuggestBot study page. IMPORTANT CHANGES: We have modified the selection of articles SuggestBot suggests and altered the design to incorporate more information about the articles, as described in this explanation. Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information. Changes to SuggestBot's suggestionsWe have changed the number of suggested articles and which categories they are selected from. The number of stubs has been greatly reduced, the number of articles needing sources doubled, and two new categories added (orphans and unencyclopaedic articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:
The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly, your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping! If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please let us know on SuggestBot's talk page. He probably got interrupted before he could remove the tags (I've done it now), and you wouldn't be able to see that it had been restored because that only appears under the delete button. I thought it couldn't have gone for seven years without being deleted. Peridon (talk) 21:04, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
Re: Colares UFO flapI actually thought it was a fake AFD, as the link to the AFD entry in the template was red since their wasn't a proper deletion entry page at the time.– Nohomers48 (talk • contribs) 00:46, 13 December 2013 (UTC) Are you sure you wanted the AfD closure notice on Talk:List of mobile phones with HD display? The notice that you put on Talk:List of mobile phones with HD display regarding the closure of the AfD is preventing the auto-redirect of that page. Would not this notice be better placed on the page in its new location? This could easily just be a scripting problem. Something similar happened at the closure of the previous AfD. At the time it was mentioned that it was a scripting issue. The available script does not appear to handle AfD's with multiple pages. The issue at that time was that the AfD notice was not removed from all pages. That is not the case this time as ViperSnake151 removed the AfD notice from all three pages shortly after sating his withdrawal of the AfD. The talk page notice probably should also be added to the other two pages. With most things I would be bold and just fix it. However, as the original creator of those two pages, I don't feel comfortable messing around with the resolution of their AfD. Makyen (talk) 02:43, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
Your AfD closure has been reversedHello! Your decision to do a non-admin closure on the AfD discussion for List of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon episodes (2014) was inappropriate at several levels: (1) the discussion did not run seven days, (2) the closure paid no attention to the consensus that was being generated for the article's deletion and (3) the redirect of the article was done unilaterally and ignored the growing consensus among Wikipedia editors that the article was not right for Wikipedia at this time. As a result, I have reversed your non-admin closure in order for the discussion to run its full course. In future, please ensure that your non-admin closures are reflective of the consensus being generated by your fellow editors. Thank you. And Adoil Descended (talk) 21:51, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
FYIA proposal has been made to create a Live Feed to enhance the processing of Articles for Creation and Drafts. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/RfC to create a 'Special:NewDraftsFeed' system. Your comments are welcome. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 06:38, 4 February 2014 (UTC) Your comment at ANII'm not sure I understood your reference to Oncenawhile's comment about me at the ANI. Are you quoting the comment to bring it to the admins' attention or to agree with him? Wieno (talk) 09:21, 7 February 2014 (UTC)

St. Edwards HallHalls in the University of Notre Dame are notable of a specific wikipedia page. They are not only dormitories because of the specific residential system at Notre Dame. Each Hall is independent, as if they were residential colleges of Oxford and Cambridge. Each has its own history, traditions, mascot, team and building. Additionally, St. Edwards Hall is on the Register of Historic places of Indiana, since it is old and of significantly relevant architecture. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eccekevin (talk • contribs) 20:54, 15 February 2014 (UTC) Dera user Ansh666, why do you continue deleting the articles about the Residence Halls of the University of Notre Dame? They are historic landmarks of the state of Indiana, they have been part of the history of one of the prominent Universities of the US and have housed many important figures in history. Also, they are not just dormitories, but the University of Notre Dame has a special residential system that provides each Hall with its own independence, history, tradition and spirit. Eccekevin (talk) 02:01, 18 February 2014 (UTC) I reverted after researching additional material and providing primary and secondary soucres, as the National Register of Hisotrical Places that encompasses both Badin and Alumni.I found also other sorces, but I believe that that alone should confer notability to a building. Thank you for your RfA supportHi there, a bit of a form letter from me, Cyphoidbomb, but I wanted to drop you a line and thank you for your support at my recent RfA. Although I was not successful, I certainly learned quite a bit both about the RfA process and about how the community views my contributions. It was an eye-opener, to say the least. I don't blame you for considering retirement. This is a weird place to work for free. I also wanted to express my appreciation at your follow-up comments, and that you took the time to figure out my AfD percentages and stick up for me. Thank you for making that extra effort. It meant a lot to me. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 00:58, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
Wisconsin High School PowerliftingI'm new to Wikipedia, can you do your best explaining to me in simple terms, why you nominated my article for deletion? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Peeta Mellark921 (talk • contribs) 21:23, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
Wolof WikipediaHi! If you decide to return, about this edit - keep in mind the info you removed is cited to that page of that version of Lih's book, so I restored the info WhisperToMe (talk) 03:34, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
Hey, are you sure you meant speedy delete when you closed this? Seems a little out of procedure, especially with no CSD cited. ansh666 19:48, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!
List of successful rickrolls AfDThanks for discussing and annotating your merge recommendation at WP:Articles for deletion/List of successful rickrolls. Flatscan (talk) 04:29, 14 April 2014 (UTC) Disambiguation link notification for June 30Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Paris Peace Treaties, 1947, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Eastern Macedonia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
