You added " |listas=Backhouse, Edmund " to the talk page of Edmund Backhouse (MP). Will this distinguish him from his rather more famous/notorious grandson: Sir Edmund Backhouse, 2nd Baronet ? ==Vernon White (talk) 21:51, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
WPBIO "listas" namesHello. Thank you for your efforts in filling out the project banners for WikiProject Biographies. Please be careful, however, with East Asian names and with others that may be written in the reverse order from what you are used to. It can be tough to recognize if you're not familiar with Japanese names enough to know that Tanaka is a surname, and Mototsugu is a given name, etc. And I don't blame you for that, certainly. Just try to be careful with it is all, please. Thank you. LordAmeth 07:44, 26 May 2007 (UTC) you recently ratedAlexander Milne Calder as a Stub Class article but did not leave any comments as to how you think this article (which, I must admit, is mostly mine) can escape this designation. I have written a fair number of such articles over the last several years and these assessments have started popping up like the dandelions in my garden and I'm at a loss as to what to do? No, not about the dandelions. I dig them up and feel good about it, but about these articles that I've spent much time and energy putting together so other folks can point out that they are not good enough. Yet these other folks never, or rarely anyway, seem to do anything other than leave brightly colored but slightly irritating messages on them. If the time was used to improve the articles rather than leaving that for someone else . . .... well the dandelions would probably all cease to exist too. The effect that this is having on me is that I now remove things (my things, pictures mostly) from these articles when this happens. WikiProject Biography is holding a three month long assessment drive! Awards to be won range from delicacies such as the WikiCookie to the great Golden Wiki Award. This drive was conceived of and organized by Psychless with the help of Ozgod. Regards, Psychless Type words!. Talk page CSDJust an FYI, but I removed the {{db-talk}} you added to here and here as both have an article that does exist. -- Gogo Dodo 19:52, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Talkpage BannerShellsPlease stop adding |2=,|3= to each project in a Bannershell template. Each Project is listed after the |1= listing. When you add the additional numbers the 2nd,3rd, etc. project is no longer displayed in the bannershell. Take a look at your edit and the banner shell from your edit then what I changed it back to. I don't know why that template is set up like that since multiple numbers would make sense, but it isn't. Optigan13 04:13, 8 July 2007 (UTC) Just wondering whether you added the scientist/academic tag to this article in error for the sports one? From the article, he appears to be a cricketer, but I'm reluctant to change in case I'm missing something. Espresso Addict 17:29, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Benjamin Waterhouse articleHello there, and thanks for taking the time to assess the page I created for the WikiBiography portal. I added the stub notice by default as I do for all my articles, but do you think there might be information in the article itself to warrant start class? If so, I will gladly remove the stub tag to reflect a more accurate state of the article. Thanks for your input! Sincerely, Eliz81 17:25, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
ListasGood job on adding the |listas= parameter to articles! That explains why lots of people with surnames starting with C were turning up in the letter category I was assessing. I want to note though, you spell parameter "perameter" in your edit summary. And you spelled Wikiquote wrong on your user page :). Anyways, thanks for doing some listas work, it's nice not to have to fill in that darned thing when I'm trying to assess articles. Psychless 22:12, 24 July 2007 (UTC) WikiProject template boxI LOVE the new wiki project banner shell that I see implemented for the first time in the page Talk:Colin Ferguson! Those things have drive me crazy! You are my hero!!! <3 xxxoooxxx <3 4evr! --Knulclunk 23:25, 25 July 2007 (UTC) Hi there; absolutely any article can have a talk page. Any article at all. The only reason to delete a talk page is if the article to which it is attached has been deleted; this one has not, nor is deletion justifible for this article.--Anthony.bradbury"talk" 23:43, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
I notice latelythat you have been showing up, rating a lot of "my" biographies, most recently a bunch of Icelanders. I feels okay to have you around, a feeling that I don't always get from the assessors. Keep up the work. Carptrash 23:51, 9 August 2007 (UTC) adminshipHello. I notice you tag a lot of talk pages for speedy deletion. Ever thought of applying for adminship and doing the deletions yourself? If you're interested I can take a closer look at your contributions and nominate you if I'm happy with what I see. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson 16:38, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
listas parameterWhat is a listas parameter? KP Botany 22:01, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
Just so you knowHi, When a page is redirected, it still exists. There is normally no reason to delete its article talk page. Best wishes, Xoloz 18:52, 19 August 2007 (UTC) You have earned theseldom coveted Two Thumbs Up Award for editing more pages on my watchlist than any one else. Probably more that any two else. Carptrash 01:52, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Talk:Garreth Carvell, which you proposed for deletion, because the page you proposed for deletion was not an article, user page, or user talk page. The talk page of the redirected article exist, so I pointed it to that, there's no need to the actual page. KTC 01:55, 31 August 2007 (UTC) ThanksI've seen you tagging behind my English bishops creation spree, and just wanted to say thanks for the help! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ealdgyth (talk • contribs) 03:16, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
