Since the ANI thread was closed which is probably for the best I'll mention this here. The nature of this edit [1] especially that it wasn't really "blanking" but replacing the page with half written text makes it obvious to me it was a mistake and not done with ill-intent. But for further confirmation you can see Casprings offering an explanation at the time here [2]. I assume you found the RM edit by looking through Casprings contribution history, so just a reminder if you find something that is unusual to me, it's often best to look around for other edits around the same time to see if there's some explanation before jumping to conclusions. I should clarify that WP:AGF means you should generally assume it's a mistake anyway unless you have good reason to think otherwise. My point was that to my mind, it was obvious it was a mistake from looking at the edit. And also clear from looking at the edits around the same time which was easy if you were already looking at their contribution history to find that edit. I didn't check his contributions, I merely saw the RM edit, and when I saw that his barnstars weren't added to the page by their original awarders I thought I was 100% sure about what was going on here. Yeah that was my other other thought. Even if you were certain the barnstars were faked, you really should have talked to Casprings about it first and brought it to ANI only if necessary. BTW, as per the prominent text when you edit ANI and the header of ANI, you are required to notify editors when bringing them there via talk page message. [3] Pinging them is not enough. The consensus was unanimous and compliant with the naming conventions at WP:AT. You did not correctly start the discussion (hence my comment about noting the guidance at WP:RM above). Please see the directions here: Wikipedia:Requested moves#Requesting multiple page moves. You also did not tag three of the articles that were the subject of the discussion, leaving out editors who may have only edited those articles. Your single edit to the talk page of IPad Pro (5th generation) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) was also easily missed as it was both unsigned and did not use the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves#Requesting multiple page moves so the bot did not tag the article for editors to see there was a proposal being discussed. Because of the malformed discussion there is no consensus nor any reason for other editors who were not given the opportunity to participate (because of the malformed discussion) to accept the results. If you'd like the pages moved, I'd suggest this:
  1. Leave a link to the discussion on Talk:iPad Pro at each and every talk page for a page being considered for moving.
  2. Decide with editors at Talk:iPad Pro if the pages should be moved, and if so, what names you would like editors to consider (this could be a few days or a week, technically this step is not required but may make the actual requested move step simpler).
  3. Once a naming scheme has been selected, initiate the requested move per the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves#Requesting multiple page moves. This will advertise the request to the wider community for input. This step lasts a week.
The need for steps 1 and 2 above is to hopefully reduce the chance of folks wanting a different naming scheme during the actual requested move discussion (which can lead to no consensus results because some will initially oppose/support the move as requested, while a small group may come up with a 3rd/4th/etc option, splintering the !votes). Let me know if you have any questions on the process.

Copyrighted file

Hello, can you explain why the file you uploaded File: MacBook Air (M1, 2020).jpeg cannot be replaced? Anyone can take a photo of the same equivalent and submit it to Commons as free work. Wingwatchers (talk) 04:11, 29 May 2021 (UTC) The promotional image shows the product from the most relevant angle without distorting proportions, discolouring the image or adding a background that falsely contributes to the impression of the product. Therefore, provides the most neutral impression possible. The equivalent to the promotional image cannot be replicated without significant financial expenditure. I've tagged this image for delayed speedy deletion as it fails WP:NFCC#1. The product design cannot be copyrighted, because only expressions are copyrightable, not ideas. Therefore anyone can take photos of it and upload it to Commons under free license. Non-free images that can be replaced with freely licensed ones can only be kept if there are sourced critical commentary about the image itself (which is very unlikely to happen). --Stylez995 (talk) 01:20, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tidal still provides FLACs for Hi-Fi non-master files

The latter is not fully true. See here: Tidal still uses FLAC for Hi-Fi 16 bit non-master files. Only all labelled as master (16 and 24 bit) are MQA. I'd rather suggest changing the lossless cell in Tidal for "Yes/No*" and write the information in footnote.
