User talk:Amyxz/Archive 2Your userboxIt's looking good! Now make it better. IMHO, do this... 1) The "Hide" works fine, but the horizontal spacing on the "Unhide" needs to be tweaked. 2) Find a way to eliminate the blank space above and below the education boxes. 3) The Pittsburgh box is neither Education nor Programming. Make a place and a heading for it, and for others that you might want to add in the future. I don't have userboxes myself, and I know nothing about working with them, but I HAVE climbed some Wikipedia learning curves with tables, etc. The curves aren't real steep, there's usually some online help, and it's rewarding when you figure everything out. But no, you no-longer-a-complete-beginner-Wikipedian, you made an Archive! Nice work. Lou Sander (talk) 21:08, 30 June 2011 (UTC) Speedy deletion nomination of Usertalk:Amyxz

There will be another workshop held at Pitt in the Fall as well. It will cover how to include Wikipedia in one's course (WP:SUP) and also how to become a Wikipedia:Campus Ambassadors. Pennsylvania has currently only one ambassador (myself) and it would be great if we could recruit at least several more. Ambassadors help course instructors, showing them how Wikipedia works, and interact with students. Many current ambassadors come from the body of students, faculty and university staff; it is a fun adventure, and adds to one resume/CV, to boot :) If it sounds interesting, feel free to ask me any questions, or to come to the workshop.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 20:06, 9 August 2011 (UTC) Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBotSuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Thanks for the suggestion. The hyperlinks for three "Past Presidents" are probably not in accordance with the Wikipedia style manual. I could have put those hyperlinks into references but I am not going to. I like the way those links look now and I am going to leave them that way. As far as I am concerned, having the external link arrow symbol at the end of a line of text is perfectly stylish. AnnaBennett (talk) 19:34, 8 September 2011 (UTC) Your recent editsHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment.
