osbert parsleyAmitchell125, i had a few questions regarding this blurb for this article.
dying (talk) 05:28, 2 January 2023 (UTC)
Thank you today for the article "about the English composer, organist and 'singing man' Osbert Parsley, whose 50-year-long musical career at Norwich Cathedral spanned the reigns of four Tudor monarchs—Henry VIII, Edward VI, Mary, and Elizabeth." I am pleased to see a "singing man" exposed prominently! - I began songs, to grow. -- "singing woman" Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:38, 10 January 2023 (UTC)

I was requested to translate the bio into German for a memorial concert ... - see background, and we talked about life and death. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:26, 12 July 2023 (UTC) Today, I remember Reger's Requiem, and our choirs' jubilee 2 weeks ago. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:37, 16 July 2023 (UTC) On today's Main page, you can find a cantata that Bach first performed 300 years ago, and an iconic saxophonist from East Germany. Thank you for your consideration. We hope to see you around! Sent by Zippybonzo using MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 08:45, 12 July 2023 (UTC) DeepStateMap.Live fixesHello @Amitchell125, I hope you're doing well. I see last week you placed two maintenance tags (primary and user generated) on an article I started a while back DeepStateMap.Live. While I have since removed the primary references tag after removing a particularly primary-cited sub-section (see my edit description for more) I am a little unsure on what you want me to do to remove the second tag, as I don't know which citations you found to be user-generated. If you could help me out with this, I would really appreciate it, as I am trying to get the article to GA status, and any input at all would be helpful 🙂 Thanks again, and sorry for how long it took for me to respond, I was camping last week. Cheers! Johnson524 (Talk!) 18:28, 17 July 2023 (UTC)

I even marked the date (PDT) so you know I'm working in the Pacific Time Zone over here, just in case you thought I was in your time zone (wherever that is). You agreed to wait—and then failed the nom anyway. If the wait was a problem, why not tell me so, instead of lying to me? Not nice. (P. S. I only found out about your message when I got to the computer—with the intent to work on the article!—after breakfast. You made a bad call and closed the review in bad faith. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale. If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
