Economy GeorgiaYou are wellcomed to take part in the voting on Talk:Georgia (country) Tamokk 01:13, 7 June 2007 (UTC) Well nobody want to get involved with incivil people. In fact that voting is not about which version is better. Tamokk 03:30, 9 June 2007 (UTC) "voting"As you are well aware of my two recent proposals, I'm sure you'll express your view. However, I'd like to ask you, when you answer, to structure your answer in a way that makes immediately clear for the next editors the points you agree/disagree, b/c when filling in their comments people tend to follow the format used by the first 2-3 users. I don't want to impose any format to you, please use 100% your discression. I'm only asking to keep in mind that other editors are less likely to read pages of comments. Reading one line and putting a yes/no is something people like, asking them to read 10 minutes, think 10 minutes, and write 10 minutes (low estimates) is way to much to ask. :-) Here and here Take your time, no rush. :Dc76 17:22, 14 June 2007 (UTC) Because i requested so. Invitation to a discussion on the Russians talk pageHello. I started a discussion on the Russians article talk page. Due to the fact that people as i see havent visited it for a long time, every opinion is important and will get attention. The discussion is important for the article. You can find the discussion here:-) Thank you. M.V.E.i. 17:01, 14 September 2007 (UTC) Your recent behavior and edit warring on the article is unjustifiable. You know perfectly well that the Confederate/Cossack and Russian support was critical to the separatist victory and the word "energetically" is not peacock term, but a descriptive one. I urge you to be honest and contain your hatred against Georgia (and possibly personal grudges against me) when editing what is supposed to be encyclopedia.--KoberTalk 07:47, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

From ZoneThank you Alæxis. I am so impressed by the work you do here on wikipedia. It's amazing. I'd like to contribute as much as I can as well. But there are a number of problems for me: 1) I can't use wikepedia the way I want, because I haven't learnt much about editing yet; 2) I don't have enough materials about abkhazia - all internet sources are quite vague and mostly pro-georgian. Thank you again! Zone 12:18, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
NPOV issues and verifiability issuesHi Alaexis, regarding this edit of yours, I would like to give you a suggestion. The concept of NPOV takes more than just the referencing requirement. If the the passage's primary flaw is its using the deliberately POV language it should be rewritten with POVed terms replaced with a neutral and factual ones rather than tagged. The reason is that POV terms can always be sourced as there are always sources who could call the same event as "occupation" and "liberation" depending on the view of the source's author. Both terms would be referenced and both could be even applicable in general. The concept of neutrality, though, requires minimizing the usage of the judgmental terms. What I am leading to is that WP:NPOV and WP:V are two different policies that work together in fact curtailing each other's application in a way. I hope you don't mind me giving you a friendly advise. --Irpen 16:55, 20 October 2007 (UTC) Soccer related questionI'm not aware of all the details on how exactly "the draw limit" was enforced, but as far as I know it's either connected somehow with the club that earned its champion's title last season or if the club contributes certain number of players to the national team. In the '88th season Spartak and Dinamo Mn didn't have that limit. Spartak was the champion in preceding season and I'm not sure of Dinamo Mn. Good question. I guess it should be more elaborated on...Aleksandr Grigoryev 03:56, 27 October 2007 (UTC) You got it, dude. Another aspect to remember here is also that these figues vary very much from census to census, as there is some kind of process of emancipation going on. Finally, please also note, that the problem here is however not so much statistical, as it is very sensiblly political question: any cut artificially undermines the real size of the community, and can easily rase ethnic tensions. Calling Moldavian someone who wants to be called Romanian almost never bring any tension. But undermining the preponderence - irritates both those who believe 1) and 2). Somewhat similarly as with the official language: it does not matter so much if one calls it R or M, as that it is the offical language of the country.:Dc76\talk 20:32, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

The dispute stems from whether Akhazia in 1992 should be called just Abkhazia or called an autonomy. I believe it should be called Abkhazia but Kober and Iberieli think it should be called an autonomy. My reasoning is from the Abkhazia article specifically
Kober says that the 1921 Georgian constitution gave autonomy to Abkhazia. I find this hard to believe and I can't find an English copy of the 1921 Georgian constitution. Either way, I believe just calling it Abkhazia is the most neutral as it doesn't make assertions as to whether it was an autonomy, independent, or a separate province of Georgia. Also, if you have access to a Russian version of the 1921 constition would you be kind as to check if it mentions autonomy for Abkhazia. Thanks Pocopocopocopoco 04:21, 7 November 2007 (UTC) Just to add, this is the two versions of the article. Pocopocopocopoco 04:31, 7 November 2007 (UTC) |
