This userpage design has been completely and shamelessly albeit thankfully, flicked from Phadriel. She is one of the kindest people around and an awesome Wikipedian.

Re:Re: Pagestyle stealing
Hello, Dan (can may I call you that?). Thank you for commenting on my userpage design. I don't mind at all! Firstly, thank you for letting me borrow your userpage design. Secondly, thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately, I do not really know what you mean by "work on a particular theme". Could you please explain more? Thank you. Happy editing! Yours sincerely, Eddie19:07, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Fantastic work adjusting the size of the image, and fixing your userpage, Dan! I must admit I'm utterly extra impressed with your enhancements... might even snatch them for myself! (j/k!) ;) Have a beautiful day! Love, Phaedriel - 16:11, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much for the beautiful compliments, dear Dan! :) And please, please do use my designs any time you wish. And no, no need that you mention me whatsoever! Like you aptly put it, that's the beauty of GDFL ;) Fantastic work on the Portal by the way! Might even use the idea to revamp the Indigenous Peoples of North America one - I've had the same design there for over a year... maybe it's time to use your cool ideas ;) Love, Phaedriel - 11:24, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, dear Dan! :) May this be a beautiful day for you too, and I'll make sure to visit you on August 15 to repay you your most kind, wonderful gesture. Have a great 4th of July! :) Love, Phaedriel - 17:59, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You've got mail, Dan! :) (well, actually, I wrote to you yesterday, but just letting you know in case you didn't check ;) Hope you had a beautiful weekend! Love, Phaedriel - 06:00, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm still lingering...
Damn, I hate myself for leaving now... after seeing the comment above this...
But, yea it was nice knowing you. I'll be in and out from time to time. Probably won't edit again. If you ever come to Chennai, say for the thalavars next film then lets meet up. I'm moving to India 4 LIFE! Well, you'll see why soon enough. Damn, I need a girl friend >_> AVTN21:39, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Replying here since you don't have a talk page. Anyways, of course I'd love to meet you when I come down to Chennai next time. I was just there last weekend. The only gripe I have with Chennai is that the Autorickshaws charge too much (when compared to B'lore). Otherwise, I love that city. And hmmmm... I thought you might hate yourself for leaving after seeing what's been going on in the article now. It's like a major disaster. Dunno what to do. Well, let's c. :) I'm kinda certain that you'd return.... someday, atleast. No good editor can stay away from WP for too long. :P aJCfreakyAk07:12, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have given up on the Sivaji article. The west will not understand his greatness. I am moving to India because I want to be with my people, I barely see any tamil people in the UK. I want to find the truth of life, so I am going to my spirtual centre (that is India). AVTN10:56, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, anyways. Take care and all the best for life back home. :) Hope to clash paths with you either on WP again or in some hangout in Chennai. God bless. aJCfreakyAk11:37, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I was born and bred in the UK. I don't have any family in Tamil Nadu, I have a great aunt in Bangalore. I wonder that TN holds for me? AVTN11:48, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sure that whatever it holds, they're good things only. Don't worry. Born and bred in the UK, you say?! Hmmm... Interesting. Anyways, I'll mail you later tonight (IST) and give you my contact details. Get in touch if possible and if you've the time, after you arrive. :) aJCfreakyAk12:25, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'll tell you why I'm coming to India when I get there. By the way I'm listening to Kireedom's soundtrack, seems not to have any songs with a fast rythm, all of them are more melodiac in rythm. Its the first non-Sivaji songs I've heard since April 2 when the Sivaji soundtrack came out. Yea, I'll get in contact with you when I get to India. First I need to go there and sort out things, I need to get an invitation letter, etc... I'll contact you when all is well. ^_^AVTN13:30, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I feel like coming back now. Although I won't have much time after the 20th. Damn, I miss wikipedia. I visit it quite a bit even after leaving and I am like omfg its a vandal, and I want to revert. But I refrain from doing so. I don't want to get back into the wikipedia phase. AVTN18:34, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Cleanup templates
Just to let you know that most cleanup templates, like "unreferenced", "fact", "cleanup" etc., are best not "subst"ed. See WP:SUBST for more details. Regards, RichFarmbrough, 07:36 15 July2007 (GMT).
Hmmm... I'm guessing that you're referring to the subst-ed merge templates I placed on the articles relating to Christian worship. I have read the guidelines for subst-ing templates, but I subst-ed the templates cos the exact template that I needed was not available. Is there another way I could have done this? Other than placing two merge templates on the related articles. For example, now the template looks all messed up cos the links are repeated twice. Anyways, thanks for the warning. :) aJCfreakyAk07:09, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
en: doesn't file individual people in Category:Men; that category is only for general articles about maleness, such as men's health or stay at home dad. And we don't apply general national categories such as "Germans" to individual articles, either; the occupational subcategory Category:German painters category already covers the fact that he's German, so it replaces the undifferentiated national category. Hope that helps a bit. Bearcat07:06, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! I've been noticing that we always end up working on the same pages, so maybe you can help me out by looking over and reviewing a page I've been working on of another CCM artist. So if you can look at the page (Tait) and come up with whatever quality it should be put under (don't really think I should make that judgment since I've been working on it!) and then give me any criticism to how I can make it better? Hopefully that all made since... if you can, Thanks! - Kneel1706:14, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Happy to help
I'm interested in improving wikipedia, and I feel that this does, but especially, I enjoy improving Christian related pages. So, there you go! --lincalinca08:24, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you!
That is exactly what I was wanting! Thank you so much! You've fixed it right up! If its ok with you, I'll copy that right to my userpage, and i will give you a barnstar for your effort:
Ok. Just one last thing, if you possibly could - see on my userpage, at the top, where I have that sort of menu (userpage, talk, awards, trash) - could you please 'boxify' that? Thanks again! -- Anonymous DissidentTalk08:30, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've notice that you have helped a wikipedian with her userpage. I've already requested the help of Phaedriel, but since so many people have spoken after me (and she already is working on other users' pages), it seems that this day will never come. So I am asking you to please design a userpage for me, or redirect me to someone else who can.
If you want to know why, then its because I have decided to wait it out on my job. I'm going to university so I won't quit wikipedia.
How can I change User:AVTN back to the old one?
Can you make me a userpage when I come back?
I'm in chennai, I might go university here so you want to meet up sometime?
If we meet up in real life I'll tell you what I came to tamil nadu for!
Its AVTN, but I don't want to log into my account from an internet cafe so I won't. I'll be back on the 15th of August. Missed you guys!
203.212.231.17011:54, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Firstly, welcome back! And I really can't say that loudly enough. Anyways, to answer your questions...
About your userpage - we could try asking any one of the helpful admins if they'd be willing to give us the content of your userpage (I think they'd have access to deleted pages) but I dunno whether this violates policy. I'll check with Riana. About your userpage design - I would simply love to do it! :)
About meeting up in real life, I sure hope you're gonna be around in Chennai for quite some time. Cos I'm not gonna be coming down for a coupla weeks. When I do come down, lets definitely meet up. And catch up... :) Glad to have you back, dude. aJCfreakyAk12:03, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I looked at the stuff below this, I don't really need anything restored. I would think it might be a big job. Its ok, just whip me up a new userpage. I'll just start over again with over 7k edits. :P I would think it might be for the best. Sorry for the late reply. I'll be back on AVTN on the 15th. I'm at Breeze Hotel in Chennai right now. I had a really nice dinner 2 nights back at Le Royal Meridien. It was 3000ish rupees for 4 people. I was suprised, thats how much it costs me to go eat Saravana Bhavans with my family in the UK (roughly 25 GBP). When I meet you in real life I need some prices. Since I might be staying here from now on. 203.212.231.17012:25, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Goodness gracious me! 3000 bucks is cheap for you?! Welcome to India, bro.... :) Anyways, both times that I've been to Le Royal Meridien, I've had the buffet. Not been there in ages. The buffet's slightly cheaper, I think. No idea. Anyways, I'll be glad to provide more info on the prices scene. With regard to the userpage, sure, we'll start over. I did feel quite silly asking Deskana to restore everything, but... As you've said, we'll start over. I've got the deleted content (or what was undeleted) posted now at User:Ajcfreak/Vagish. We'll get to work on it once you're safely settled here. That's all for now. :) Hope to see you soon. aJCfreakyAk14:47, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm back in the UK. So can you start work on my main page? I am getting my name changed to Sintaku which is my name on a lot of other sites. I think I registered the username here a long time ago so I'm getting it usurped. So can you make me a new front page? AVTN18:46, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I may come back in september, but that is not confirmed. Listening to Bheema songs right now, they are good. Saw Sivaji 5 times in India, now I can't watch it again for a while. Yea, its ok if make it look like your page. I can do my edits to it later when I have time. Then I'll show you the final version and if you want I can transfer it for you too. I don't know what to add right now to my page. I have all day today, tommorow will decide whether I will be on ultra low editing (0.1-0.5k edits a month) or normal (4-5k edits a month). Oh yea, is love marriage getting popular there? I saw lots of people talking about it at the buffets. AVTN09:17, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Deleted userpage
There's no content other than a redirect in the page history of that deleted userpage that you told Riana about. Are you sure you've got the right page? --Deskana(banana)12:23, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This is getting slightly silly now. Why did he ask for them to be deleted if he wants them back? Please can you get him to respond to me, explaining why he wanted them deleted and how has changed his mind. --Deskana(banana)15:17, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
My sweet, dear Dan, as far as I know, there's no way to do that unless you code a bot! :) But who needs that, when just a few hours delay are sure worth the joy that your beautiful words bring with them? For that, my friend, thank you so very very much - once again, you make me feel special, even tho I hardly deserve that much praises. And hey - I kept you some cake in the fridge... and an email at your inbox! (go check!) :) Love, Phaedriel - 21:22, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Re:User:Ganeshbot/Not created
Thanks for working on that list! I really appreciate the category cleanup. Did you use AWB for that? There are still three states that are pending to be merged. After a merge is complete, tag the sandbox article with "{{db|[[WP:CSD]] G6}}" and it will get deleted by an admin. Regards, Ganeshk(talk)02:54, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for the delayed response. Some of us work on that list state-wise. Initially there were too many articles to be merged, it was nice to hit milestones as each state was completed. It is okay for you to work on it in the alphabet order. Don't bother removing the tag manually and also tagging for delete. I will take care of these using AWB. After a merge is complete, uncat the by adding {{tl| before the state-stub template name and a colon, [[:Category before the category. Hope I have answered your questions. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks again, Ganeshk(talk)03:17, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
My dear Indian Wikipedian, thanks for your suggestion.
My intention is to Create a page which contains all restaurants information in and around Bangalore. Also i am grouping them based on location.
If any wikipedian wants some restaurant information, then he can access that page(BangaloreRestaurants).
Now tell me What is your golden suggestion?

page for "HuskerVision" (deleted)
Hey, I just wanted to drop you a line asking about the page HuskerVision that you marked for deletion a while back. As it was my first attempt at creating an entry, I'm not real upset, but curious as to the specific reasoning for the deletion. If, as you stated, notability is the issue, I have quite a few articles, etc. that prove it's notability. I guess I was just hoping for a more detailed explanation if you could, although I do realize it's been awhile. Thanks. Gwright8613:08, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Who is this socketpuppet? Its ok about the header bit, I'll put it into the design in another way when I've finished playing with it. I'm gonna start a bit of work on it now. First a clean up then add tabs etc... AVTN19:17, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I couldn't get the note on the user talk page. I'm going to put the note on a separate page so I can put it on all the pages. Now I need to fix the contents box, change the font/place/colour. Then I'll add the tabs.AVTN20:08, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just wanted a bit of help from someone, also it allows me to put your name on the bottom of my page. Also you want me to do it for you to? I'll provide an explaination of how to use it. Also I'm back in Chennai by the 1st of September. AVTN16:48, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
An encyclopedia article should be based on fact, not opinion. I removed opinion-based statements and replaced them with factual ones. I'm going to change it again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jakedaniel (talk • contribs)
You didn't do anything wrong, I searched his contribs and your name is not on any of the guys edit histories. I can't believe I did that, it took 2 minutes of my life. >_>
Its been a while since I edited wikipedia, I tried coming back but it is really hard. Once I quit something I find it hard to get back unless there is an advantage, and I see no advantage, I see a disadvantage which is the loss of time. Sintaku18:27, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Khanna (City), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: User:Ganeshbot/sandbox/Khanna. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot10:09, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have several pics of John Schlitt of a time he came here solo (BTW, I uploaded one to his article), but the only time I saw Petra live (in 2000 I guess), I didn't bring a camera :( However, I believe Josh would be the right person to ask. Thief1200:38, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You recently changed a deletion tag from deletion under WP:CSD#A7 to deletion under WP:CSD#G4 as a repost. I remind you that these changes are not helpful unless you can actually link the prior XfD discussion in the parameter {{Db-repost|Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/InvalidName}}. G4 only applies when the article has previously been deleted via a prior XfD. In this case, the article has, so far as I can tell, never been deleted via XfD. Thus the A7 tag was correct, and your retagging was wrong. GRBerry21:24, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dan
Hey this is the guy you've been talking to about the DC Talk page. Whatever that IP was 71.something. Anyways turns out I signed up for a name a long time back and forgot about it.
Well anyways I have to first say I don't think anything you have said is offensive, I wanted to re-assure you of that. And I think open discussion is great to improving articles.
Now for some background, I have been a Christian since accepting him at a Newsboys concert in 1992. Since then Christian music has been a big part of my life. I had a zine I was working on with a friend online back in the late 90's and got to interview a couple guys in the industry including Tim Gaines and Oz Fox when they were in Sin Dizzy, of course they were founding members of Stryper. I kind of consider myself a self-historian and I am working towards becoming more knowledgable then I am because I feel it's important to preserve the history of Christian music. If someone doesn't do it, it's going to fade away.
And the reason I know so much is because I have a collection of about 500+ albums of all types of styles, a huge collection of magazines ranging from Campus Life to HM to CCM and many more dating back to the 70's. All of these ususally given to me by friends or acquaintences. Right now a lot of my stuff is sitting in storage because of personal circumstances and at some point I want to digitize my collection. I already started on my music collection.
I really feel a need to start writing on the history and starting an acurate record of the facts of things that happened because people in Christian music, not out of idol worship, deserve to get acurate credit for what they have done. Some people don't have any idea what has become before them. And it's funny how just because someone is a Christian they don't deserve credit for what they've done. Phil Keaggy is a good one, the guy is credited as a great guitarist in Glass Harp but outside of it, in his solo career, he gets very little mention in mainstream circles. But I think most would agree his greatest work is in his solo, Christian, career. And the way the mainstream music media view Christian music is not the greatest. And there also needs to be an acurate record to stop rumors about the artists.
I also feel that because of how much these bands and artists have given me, in terms of great music and spiritual growth, I need to give back. So to that end I have had three websites over the last 10 years. Two were short lived. One was the zine site, the second was the defense site. You have to understand there was a movement back in the mid to late 90's of people claiming to be of God attacking Christian artists because they didn't like the style of music they were playing. If you do a google for Christian Rock Apologetics you'll see what I mean. Right now, and the selfish reason I was speaking of, I run my own site and have installed the mediawiki software. I'm actually building my own Chrstian Music Wiki. I have reasons for doing it seperate from this wiki. So that's where my editing will go, but I am not so selfish that I won't lend a hand here or there if needed. The other week I was looking up John Schlitt and add some info on his new album.
The reason I didn't edit DC Talk because I know how people are and there is a totally different way I would do the page. To me it looks like a fan page, not even covering the whole of their public career. I know there are people who don't like the first two albums and think they are a joke compared to Free at Last and onward. If you look at the page right now it has little info on the self titled debut, also what about Nu Thang? What about their appearance on Cornerstone TV on a show called His Place, explaining their name? I actually have video in storage of this. What about Christian Rhymes To A Rhythm? There are more but I think you get the point. And when I went to the talk page, I found a forum not on improving the article but questions about the band coming back. That I know is against wiki policy.
Now I will say as far as other wiki policy goes, I think we have to have some sort of other policy for Christian Music. To be honest there is not much record of Chrstian Music other then magazines and first hand accounts. Sourcing material, and this is something I have found myself personally, is extremely difficult because most of Christian music has not been documented properly. So I can see writing material without sources but we have to find a reasonable compromise on this end. I could be wrong and if I am let me know what you think.
