Thanks for signing up for the Feedback Dashboard response team! I wanted to let you know that the tool just got an important update (see here for details). I also wanted to invite you to the IRC office hours session that Steven and I are going to hold this Sunday, December 4. Hope you can make it and share your experience/questions with us! Thanks again, Maryana (WMF) (talk) 18:27, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
I've just seen your great, attentive work dealing with new editors through the Feedback Dashboard - both happy and sad. Thanks for taking the time to contact new users as you have :)Ironholds (talk) 21:00, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
Rollback can be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
Rollback may be removed at any time.
If you do not want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can viewthis page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message on my talk page if you have any questions. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk)23:35, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
I promise when I say I'm not trying to be cause "disruptive editing". I'm only trying to keep the truth true. As I written in my original edit summary:
Neither the film nor the cast and crew(including Gemma) say anything about Tamara being the mermaid queen; therefore, she is only a mermaid
I understand completely of Wikipedia's tendency to take only what news articles state. However, films are a source too; so the way they are set up matters as well. No official film material states that Tamara was a mermaid...they say "Gemma Ward portrayed a mermaid named Tamara", but not "Gemma Ward portrayed a mermaid queen named Tamara". No such thing was stated in the film's original script, books, etc state that she's a queen: not even the cast and crew, including Gemma Ward herself.
But back to what I took out stuff, even though one was sourced. As you can see in my edit, I took out all the "mermaid queen" nonsense because nothing related to that is stated inyour so-called source. The only thing that's stated is that Gemma Ward played a mermaid. That's it. Nothing else. Nothing saying "Oh, she's playing a queen!". So take that as a source that all of this mermaid queen business is just nonsense and gibberish made by the press.
I'm on the Pirates Wikia right now, and she wasn't Queen of the Mermaids nor was she an "antagonistic" mermaid. She was just one of them that searched for the Fountain of Youth. In other words, we're both wrong; she's just a minor character in the movie.-Abigail was here :D(Need Some Help? Click Me!)03:26, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
Ok, I didn't really think of "antagonistic mermaid". I kinda took that from someone else who stated this problem. But either way, I'm glad we could reach an agreement over this "mermaid queen" business.
You recently reverted some constructive edits of mine. I was attempting to give that user a more descriptive user page. Does Wikipedia not encourage users to jump in and give it ago? I was trying to improve the encyclopedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by121.73.245.112 (talk) 21:29, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

My dear friend! I'm adding external links to StarWind page from independent sources. Can I ask you why are you REVERING my work (insisted by Wiki moderators) and keep page content people don't like and want to delete? Can you please tell me what part of my edits constitutes vandalism? Luke Evans has admitted to being an openly gay man, some woman claimed to be in a relationship with evans, a rumor which evans never confirmed. your current posting is misleading at best. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rmendez4 (talk • contribs) 21:46, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
There is reason to restate as the final statement is false and misleading. Ending the article with a rumored relationship with a woman is an attempt to coverup his previous admission to being gay as a youthful indiscretion. In reality some woman claimed to be in a relationship with an openly gay mean, this constitutes a rumor not a truth and should be documented as such. The man who is openly homosexual never confirmed the rumor which leads the reader to the truth, that it is likely just that a rumor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rmendez4 (talk • contribs) 21:54, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Your userpage
I have protected your userpage to stop the obscene vandalism that keeps getting added to it. Let me know if you ever want it unprotected. Cheers! Reaper Eternal (talk) 21:04, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
I am giving you a cat for your revert of vandalism on the United States Coast Guard article; mostly because you asked for one on your user page. I try never to let an act of kindness concerning my beloved Coast Guard go unrewarded. Thank you so much.Cuprum17 (talk) 01:03, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
May I ask whom the user was being mean to, because I see no signs of that whatsoever – to you or anyone else. –MuZemike01:37, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
I think he's says I'm being mean because he writes "You suck" to us on the Dashboard and I tell him that Vandalism sucks; he also wrote that People Who Have Lives Don't Edit Wikipedia and I responded by saying that People Who Have Lives Don't Ruin Something Created By Other People or something like that. --Abigail was here :DTalk to Me.Email Me.01:40, 21 December 2011 (UTC)

Hello, I recently received a message from you concerning the edits of a certain city. I would like to know what constitutes a "constructive" edit as I am only providing information that improves the quality of the page. Have a nice day99.225.44.141 (talk) 03:33, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
You are receiving this message either because you expressed an opinion about the proposed SOPA blackout before full blackout andsoft blackout were adequately differentiated, or because you expressed general support without specifying a preference. Please ensure that your voice is heard by clarifying your position accordingly.
Consider this a green tea...as you like it. Thanks for your excellent work on the speedback dashboard. And I looked into your request, and have deleted the info (seems like this has been oversighted before). I'd refrain from leaving a message to said user; the less ruckus, the better. You were addressing User:Androzaniamy's concerns - the vandalism she is likely citing is the IP edits to her user page, rather than her talk page. (Having said that, I believe she was going on some about vandalism even before those IP edits; she's a new editor with her own unique take on what is appropriate.) --Nat Gertler (talk) 02:39, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
Dear AbigailAbernathy, thank you for all the work you've done responding to feedback via the Feedback Dashboard! The feature is useless without folks like you who put in the time to mentor new users, so please continue to be awesome and make Wikipedia better! :) Garemoko (talk) 23:43, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
I believe the subject on the Cure for a Fetish could be highly opinionated because a Fetish is very broad. There are many fetishes so there are many "cures," or none at all. In a nutshell, it's almost impossible to answer because of the broadness of the topic.--Abigail was here :DTalk to Me.Email Me.02:38, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Reception Negation
The post against the band meet our weapons was quoted from a critical review, not a malicious comment.
Undesirable reverting of a correction on the "Satires (Juvenal)" page
Madam,
I have very limited knowledge of the inner workings of Wikipedia, but since I have twice tried to correct a mistake only to see
it erased, and have been notified you are somehow connected with the matter, I felt compelled to contact you. The mistake I caught
is in the "Satires (Juvenal)" page under the subheading "Satire III: There is no Room in Rome for a Roman". Here, much of the
first line of the Latin text was left untranslated in the accompanying English translation. The Latin is: "quid Romae faciam?
mentiri nescio;" I attempted to add "What could I do at Rome? I don't know how to cheat;" as the first line of the English
translation and trouble ensued. I hope you will be able to resolve this matter and improve the article.

This would be a good question for the Teahouse =) Regarding the image being used on that article page - for films, and certain types of article subjects, a non-free rationale can be used to display a copyrighted image on the article page. You can read the rationale for using that image here File:RukiaAnime.jpg. One downer is that it can *only* be used in that one space, no where else. Hence why it had to be removed from the Teahouse page :( But, there are plenty of lovely anime images on Commons, perhaps one of those will be able to be used for your Host profile. (And we hope you stop by and help out soon :) ) Sarah(talk) 19:30, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the clarification, Sarah. Bugger, though! I liked that picture :( Oh well. I'll continue to go around looking for other pictures to use for an avatar. Oh and Sarah, I'll probably be a little slow with the Teahouse. I caught a cold and the only thing I've been doing is drinking water and making soup. I'll put my 2 cents in soon! --Abigail was here :DTalk to Me.Email Me.19:43, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the response
Abigail, Thanks for the response to my feedback. I feel that it is a lot of fun to use the Wiki markup alongside my previous web development knowledge. I also can't wait to see how the Wikipedia page turns out when I eventually finish and launch my social networking website (I've already made some Userboxes about it), because I really haven't given out much information about it, and it would be nice to see how others would judge the "Features" and other sections of the website. I'm not trying to advertise at all, I just can't wait to see how it turns out and when would you suggest that I start the Wikipedia page for it? Should I start it now and upload images for it so as to inform readers? Thanks again and I hope to hear a response from an experienced Wikipedian like you soon!-- • |robdukarski| • 15:29, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for all of your help. I feel that for my article I would simply complete the "infoboxes" probably just before the launch and then let other Wikipedians fill in the rest as to not have the article be biased because of me. Thanks again.-- • |robdukarski| • 21:31, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
You're very welcome! I hope your article gets approved and becomes extremely awesome. I'll be watching. If you want any more help, feel free to leave me a message here or you can personally email me, the link is in my signature. Happy Editing, and good luck! --Abigail was here :DTalk to Me.Email Me.21:53, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
Tea Talk Question!
Hi Abigail! Hope you're doing well :) Glad to see you drop in on the Teahouse to participate - made me happy to see! I'd love to ask your help with something, "Tea Talk"! A few days ago I asked a question for women editor's about what they are editing or have found inspiration on on Wikipedia. It was a great way for people to participate. I was wondering if you'd like to take a shot at the next question? Think something that would get new and experienced editor's discussing their experience on Wikipedia, i.e. the first image someone uploaded, your first a-ha moment on Wikipedia regarding a skill, etc. Feel free to ping me for help, or just ask it on the Teahouse. :) I hope you're willing to take on this task only a Hostess with the Mostess can take on!Sarah (talk) 22:22, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
The Tea Leaf - Issue One - Recent news from the Teahouse
Hi! Welcome to the first edition of The Tea Leaf, the official newsletter of the Teahouse!
Metrics are out from week one. Week one showed that the need for Teahouse hosts to invite new editors to the Teahouse is urgent for this pilot period. It also showed that emailing new users invitations is a powerful tool, with new editors responding more to emails than to talk page templates. We also learned that the customized database reports created for the Teahouse have the highest return rate of participation by invitees. Check out the metrics here and see how you can help with inviting in our Invitation Guide.
A refreshed "Your hosts" page encourages experienced Wikipedians to learn about the Teahouse and participate. With community input, the Teahouse has updated the Your hosts page which details the host roles within the Teahouse pilot and the importance that hosts play in providing a friendly, special experience not always found on other welcome/help spaces on Wikipedia. It also explains how Teahouse hosts are important regarding metrics reporting during this pilot. Are you an experienced editor who wants to help out? Take a look at the new page today and start learning about the hosts tasks and how you can participate!
Introduce yourself and meet new guests at the Teahouse. Take the time to welcome and get to know the latestguests at the Teahouse. New & experienced editors to Wikipedia can add a brief infobox about themselves and get to know one another with direct links to userpages. Drop off some wikilove to these editors today, they'll surely be happy to feel the wikilove!
You are receiving The Tea Leaf after expressing interest or participating in the Teahouse! To remove yourself from receiving future newsletters, please remove your username here. Sarah (talk) 15:58, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
Hi Abigail! As requested on the "Your hosts" page (and in the original application process), it'd be wonderful to have hosts participate in all areas that were originally. Two things I'd LOVE help with specifically:inviting people and when you are finished answering a question on the Teahouse page, it'd be awesome if you'd leave a Teahouse Talkback on theeditors page. These are all necessities during (and honestly, beyond) the pilot phase of this project, and is very important in us tracking metrics to judge the projects successes, or failures. If this is going to be an issue, feel free to let me know! Thanks again for participating, you're doing an awesome job :)Sarah (talk) 12:39, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
Hi, Sarah! I know, I'm sorry for being a little short in the invite department. People are so fast when it comes to inviting! I'll try to get some during this week or the weekend, when I have more screen time. I'll see you around the Teahouse!--Abigail was here :DTalk to Me.Email Me.02:07, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

I am a new person over here, for a free speech, you can surely have a verification from my side.I can provide you documented evidences, for the same. I am an experienced personnel in the pharma industry, and we must make people aware in the problems in such careers.
The person named GD edited the post and issued me threats of banning even the person is not experienced or is near to ground reality.
You're not citing anything; everything you post must be verifiable, and we cannot rely on unsourced material. I also saw that you made a personal attack to Gogo Dodo. First, calm down, He was not insulting your intelligence, "challenging" you, or trying to revoke your rights of Free Speech. There are some policies Wikipedia has for citing material, that you do not have any knowledge of. You can always gather sources and attempt to reinsert your information with them, try doing that.
No more attacks, control yourself.
Dear Abigail,
Thanks for your reply, please note that there is twice a statements regarding the person whom I have dealt with, the wordings where it is said that " it is not your soapbox" I am damn serious and this person is telling me that I am using wikipedia for writing my soapbox? I have atleast 10-20 places where I do whatever I want.
Placing such comments are attacks on the editors, if you are not convinced that I was attacked, you can read the comment sitting in my place. You cannot understand the pain/insult till you suffer it.
Thanks for trying to deal with the rather disgruntled Saynotopharmacareer. Obviously there were here to push their POV, which was not going to work in the long term. Add in the language barrier and you get some interesting insults. It was a valiant try to get them to understand the issue. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:18, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
You're welcome, Gogo Dodo, glad I could be of assistance. I hope this never happens again, or my WikiStress might elevate. He emailed me, so I'm talking to him whenever he emails me back, I'm prepared for when he goes off on me. If you want, I can keep you posted. --Abigail was here :DTalk to Me.Email Me.10:53, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
