hi, this is hemasundar pamarthi,
artist hema date of birth is worng. she asked me to correct this. she acted more than 500 movies. her original date of birth is 12nov 1975. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hemasundar Pamarthi (talk • contribs) 05:44, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
@Hemasundar Pamarthi: Please know that wikipedia does not publish its own information rather it is provided by other reliable sources. This Times of India article says she appeared in 250 movies by 2014. Birth year is based on this source by Sakshi which says she was 53 in September 2020. If you represent the subject, you might want to contact them for any corrections. I've removed the birth date for now on the side of caution until there is additional sourcing. -- Ab207 (talk) 06:11, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
Hello Tribal007, thanks for reaching out. As you can see, sourcing also is not an issue (Verifiability does not guarantee inclusion). Problems is misuse of MOS:BOLD and WP:UNDUE amount of information. A person has filed a petition that Reddy is a Christain which the court did not accept. That's all we have to include. You may add something like this:
In December 2020, Andhra Pradesh High Court dismissed a writ petition of quo warranto against Reddy which claimed that he visited Tirumala Venkateswara Temple despite being a non-Hindu. The court further noted that one cannot be considered a Christian merely for attending the prayers in Churches.
You may write something on those lines and make any changes if needed. It should not be an issue then. Thanks -- Ab207 (talk) 07:18, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
Hello Ab207,
Hope you are well and safe. I saw that you have redirected my page Deepak Reddy to his film's page. Could you please let me know the reason it fails the Wiki GNG and what I could do to possibly keep the old page alive? He has worked on Fidaa(2017 film) and his own Manasanamaha(2020) so it is not his only notable work which is why I am confused. Please kindly advise. Thank you. -
Cinemaha (talk) 05:49, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
The subject (Deepak Reddy)'s article does not have significant coverage in reliable and independent sources. Most of the sources in the article are either interviews (non-independent) or talk about the film Manasanamaha, which is why it seemed logical to redirect it to the film (Fidaa does not count, it is Sekhar Kammula's work).
As you've made contributions only to Manasanamaha and Deepak Reddy, I'm compelled to ask you whether you have a conflict of interest in relation to them. It is strongly discouraged to write about yourself, family, friends, clients, employers, or your financial and other relationships. If you do, you must disclose it on your user page.
About persistent addition of wrong information by wikipedia editors
Hello dear editor friend Ab207, Nowadays I had to revert a lot of edits done by an editor named Sathish Kathiravan for adding information which are either unsourced or erroneous, which you know is strictly not allowed in wikipages..
I just want to know one thing from a senior editor friend like you, is there any possible way to stop this..? Like "reporting" the user etc. because even after repetitive explanations on why the edit is reverted, Mr. Kathiravan is not ready to listen and continues adding false information or information which were earlier removed by other experienced editors like you.
Hello Gautham offl, situations like these can be annoying but it is appreciable that you've patiently tried to explain it on their talk page. If they make such problematic edits again, you may report them at WP:ANI with evidence i.e. Diffs of the edits (There is also WP:AIV but its for more obvious cases of vandalism). Alternatively, I see that admin SpacemanSpiff has issued multiple warnings already, so you can bring this to their notice. Hope this helps -- Ab207 (talk) 12:38, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
@DaxServer: I've added a source for the election result. The draft is now ready to be moved as it meets WP:NPOL, though you may keep working on it for expansion. If sources are difficult to find in English, you can use Telugu-language sources. Do let me know if there is anything else. -- Ab207 (talk) 16:33, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the additions. I'll try to do some research over the weekend and try to add some more content, probably around Amaravati protests during last government. I have his photo somewhere in the camera roll, I'll have to search for it. -- DaxServer (talk) 17:38, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
Hi Ab207. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Anarchyte (talk) 08:04, 18 May 2021 (UTC)
Hi Ab207, I removed the dead links and added the references to the Sripada Ramachandra Rao's Wikipedia page. The subject is a filmmaker in India. Please let me know if it still needs more citation, I would be happy to provide. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Saikiran.sripada (talk • contribs) 14:23, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
As you've made contributions only to Sripada Ramachandra Rao and his films, I'm compelled to ask you whether you have a conflict of interest in relation to them. It is strongly discouraged to write about yourself, family, friends, clients, employers, or your financial and other relationships. If you do, you must disclose it on your user page. Your surname Sripada, the same as the subject, also doesn't help in this case. -- Ab207 (talk) 15:10, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
