The agreed term for Australians who play soccer is football (soccer) not the broad "football". This has already been discussed and agreed on regardless of what you think it "should" be. Have a look at these discussions http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Association_football_in_Australia#.22Football.22 I am aware that this is not just for Australians, but its not just for people who think it nshould be called football either. In Australia, the use of football usually refers to australian rules football or rugby league. To avoidconfusion, when referenced in articles about Austrlaians, it is referred to as football (soccer) to avoid the confusion. This was agreed on and no longer can Rugby league or Australian rules football players re referenced to as "football" players either.

Template:Ballon d'Or recipients styling

Hi,

The documentation for the {{navbox}} template says that overriding the default styling isn't recommended. There's no actual link to "gold" with the Ballon d'Or other than it, like, being a shiny trophy, so I don't think we should go against the recommendation here. Regarding this subject, with all due respect, i must digress in one aspect: There is nothing wrong in writing Retired in CurrentClub, because it's the equivalent of writing "None", meaning the player has no link to any club, nor will he have in the future.
