I noticed that you have been fixing many cases of "Link equal to linktext" that are in fraternity and sorority list articles. The items you are changing are not errors per se, but instead the way Visual Editor adds data. Specifically if a linked university name is placed in italics, indicating that it has closed, VE automatically will create: [ABC University|"ABC University"]], rather than the prefered "[ABC University]". It does not matter if the college name is in italics before or after the addition of the link, VE always generates the same sub-standard format, resulting in what has been considered a "Link equal linktext" error. I have concluded that either someone needs to fix VE or we need to stop wasting time making these changes, as the format is clearly now acceptable to Wikepedia. oh I see, I will be avoiding those list articles from now own. It would be nice if these Wikipedia pages follows one format, may be editors who focus on these articles simply make "[ABC University]", that way it won't pick up as an error in "Check Wikipedia Project".
Thanks for pointing out.

Yeah, once I realized the issue, I now go in and fix it. However, I also realize that many editors who use VE don't know how to switch to source editor to make those changes. There is a similar problem with how VE generates dates for citations. That may have been fixed by coders; I am not sure. To me, that is the best solution--to correct VE so that it automatically follows MOS. However, as a content creator and editor only, that is above my skill set.
