User talk:AKMask/Archive 1Operation ClambakeHi, I saw your edits to Operation Clambake. Have you considered yet joining Wikipedia:WikiProject Scientology? The questions of how the various Scientology-related categories are arranged are the sort of thing that gets debated there. -- Antaeus Feldspar 23:06, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
Epitaph/RIAA connection, etcreplying to: Im just posting this because I wish to avoid any sort of edit war. Is it possible for you to cite a notable source defining a major record label the way you are asserting? It's a new one by me. AKMask 16:38, 5 December 2005 (UTC) Hi, I appreciate your efforts to avoid an edit war (I don't want one either). Regarding the RIAA/indie label issue, it's difficult to find authoritative sources for the absolute definition of "independent" as it is mainly a matter of rough consensus of the indie community. However, increasingly RIAA membership has served as sort of the litmus test for a label's independence (I'm sure you're familiar with the RIAA Radar). In that sense, here are some links attempting to document the consensus regarding RIAA membership: Indie Labels join RIAA I'm willing to concede that some (perhaps many) don't agree with the anti-RIAA definition of indie, and that fact should be included in both the Epitaph and the independent record label articles. --Bk0 (Talk) 16:58, 5 December 2005 (UTC) FL questThank you for the FL quest on List of Oh My Goddess episodes --Cool CatTalk|@ 12:22, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
CiscoHi, I'm new to wikipedia, so don't mind me if I'm doing things completely wrong. Anyhow, I edited the article 'cisco (wine)' recently, but you changed it back. I just wanted to let you know that the only ones I've ever seen sold around here are 18%, and also, "berry", "orange", and "Red" are all flavors I have seen first hand. There are even more flavors that I've seen also, but I didn't want to speculate... I only wrote the ones I was sure about. I thought maybe raspberry was the same as berry. So anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I believe you if you say that there is a 19.5 and 17.5 version of cisco, which I'd really like to see, but the info I added, specifically the flavors, should have been kept on the page. There is a liquor store about 30 minutes out of my town which specializes in bum wines which I'll be driving past in the next week. So I'll stop in and check up on the flavors for sure this time.
The Black ListAs you are aware, we are all listed on the [Brandt W-W black list]text in brackets changed to avoid spam blacklist -Mask . Do you think that everyone who is listed on that list should be informed (in case they don't know) so that they can avoid giving out personal information? In fact, I find it most disturbing that he has taken my quotes out of context - elsewhere in the same comments, I am praising him for finding out who wrote that stuff about Seigenthaler. I wondered if you could clarify something for me. You said that Bureaucratship is nt the next logical step from Adminship. Why isn't it and what is the next step? I see you are just getting started in helping with tropical cyclone articles, and us at the project are happy you joined. There are numerous ongoing projects, including greatly improving the retired hurricane/typhoon articles or finishing a database encompassing tropical cyclone seasons in every basin. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or at our headquarters. Have fun, and see you around. Re: MessierWell, Messier played junior 'A' in my hometown for my favourite team, he was a great two-way forward, he was a terrific leader, he could score with the best of them and I'm surprised he never won a Selke trophy (they've always had a thing against giving it to top scorers)...I have to support him! Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBotSuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun! SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways, from comparing articles that need work to other articles you've edited, to choosing articles randomly (ensuring that all articles with cleanup tags get a chance to be cleaned up). It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping. You recently voted oppose for this article's request to become a featured list. The main or sole reason behind your choice to oppose was that there were many red links on the article. This was in the process of being attended to by Metropolitan well before I nominated this article for FL status, so I apologize that the article was not ready to become an FL as of then. Now, though, all but a few red links have been replaced by blue links. For the time being, your oppose vote has been stricken out because your reason for opposing has been attended to. If you still believe this article should not become a featured list, please de-strike your comment and state a new reason. If you think that because of the lack of red links, it now deserves a support vote, kindly note that below your original vote and write "support". Thank you for your vote on that page. → J@red talk+ ubx 02:53, 31 March 2006 (UTC) Thurrock ParanormalDear 'AKMask', Would you please try to be a little easier on the creators of Thurrock Paranormal, users here overly criticising them and their site is doing Wikipedia a disservice and has resulted in some long term members loosing faith in the community here. Stalking/Water Under the BridgeIt has been forever and frankly I had forgotten about the hole incident regarding you. I feel now is the right time to set the record straight as you deserve no less. Incivil behaviour is inexcusable and the way I treated you was less than civil. It was and still is indignified and unacceptable. I caused you unnecesary stress. I have been dealing with people who had been inflicting stress on me since day one and to realise that I have been no better than them... You have to understand I have been quite jumpy since the disappearance of davenbelle and MARMOT incident. Perhaps I became a bit paranoid as well. This however does not justify my actions. Hence, I expect you to be less than satisfied with an apology as my actions were way out of line. You have my most sincere apologies if they mean anything to you after our encounter. --Cat out 21:59, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

Article formattingDear Tropical cyclone editor, As a member of the Tropical Cyclone Wikiproject, you are receiving this message to describe how you can better tropical cyclone articles. There are hundreds of tropical cyclone articles, though many of them are poorly organized and lacking in information. Using the existing featured articles as a guide line, here is the basic format for the ideal tropical cyclone article.
Good luck with future writing, and if you have a question about the above, don't hesitate to ask. |
