Weimar Republic essay-like

Hi 48JCL -- Is there some specific section (or sections) of the article that you find particularly essay-like? I largely rewrote the history section about a year ago, so I'm especially interested in it, but I'd like to know your thoughts behind adding the comment box just in general.
