– Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 18:11, 15 June 2020 (UTC) WikiProject MysticismDear User: 3family6, thank you for saying you would join WikiProject Mysticism, especially with relation to articles on the Shakers, at Wikipedia: WikiProject Council. We have four Wikipedians who say they would join there, so I wonder whether you feel we can start the WikiProject? The number of Wikipedians at Wikipedia: WikiProject Council who have expressed an interest appears to have stagnated at four, but if we start the WikiProject, we may be able to attract new members. Vorbee (talk) 19:40, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
I have started Wikipedia: WikiProject Mysticism, so you may like to join. After starting this WikiProject, some one moved it to the namespace, and it now looks like a proposal for a new WikiProject, but you may like to modify it. Thank you User: 3family6 for your support in getting this WikiProject established - it is appreciated. Vorbee (talk) 07:47, 20 June 2020 (UTC) DYK for Battle of AsakaiOn 23 June 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Battle of Asakai, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that in Eve Online, the Battle of Asakai became one of the largest online battles after a single player made an accidental move that escalated the conflict to include more than 3,000 players? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Battle of Asakai. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Battle of Asakai), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. — Wug·a·po·des 23:03, 20 June 2020 (UTC) 00:02, 23 June 2020 (UTC) The Signpost: 28 June 2020

Hi, hope you're well. I just wondered whether you would be returning to this featured list nomination as it has been three weeks since the last reviewer left their comments and 8 weeks since you last edited the article. If not, would you like to withdraw this nomination? Cowlibob (talk) 22:07, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
WikiProject TemplateDear User: 3family6, thank you for joining Wikipedia: WikiProject Mysticism. I wonder whether you would be happy for me to put the template saying "This article is of interest to WikiProject Mysticism" on the article on Mysticism and other articles relevant to mysticism? Vorbee (talk) 16:46, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
I have tried putting the template on the talk page of the article on mysticism, but it came out in red letters. Do you know how you get these templates on talk pages of articles, please? Vorbee (talk) 06:29, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

Editing news 2020 #4Read this in another language • Subscription list for this newsletter Reply toolThe Reply tool has been available as a Beta Feature at the Arabic, Dutch, French and Hungarian Wikipedias since 31 March 2020. The first analysis showed positive results.
The Editing team released the Reply tool as a Beta Feature at eight other Wikipedias in early August. Those Wikipedias are in the Chinese, Czech, Georgian, Serbian, Sorani Kurdish, Swedish, Catalan, and Korean languages. If you would like to use the Reply tool at your wiki, please tell User talk:Whatamidoing (WMF). The Reply tool is still in active development. Per request from the Dutch Wikipedia and other editors, you will be able to customize the edit summary. (The default edit summary is "Reply".) A "ping" feature is available in the Reply tool's visual editing mode. This feature searches for usernames. Per request from the Arabic Wikipedia, each wiki will be able to set its own preferred symbol for pinging editors. Per request from editors at the Japanese and Hungarian Wikipedias, each wiki can define a preferred signature prefix in the page MediaWiki:Discussiontools-signature-prefix. For example, some languages omit spaces before signatures. Other communities want to add a dash or a non-breaking space. New requirements for user signatures
Next: New discussion toolNext, the team will be working on a tool for quickly and easily starting a new discussion section to a talk page. To follow the development of this new tool, please put the New Discussion Tool project page on your watchlist. Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 18:47, 31 August 2020 (UTC) Wikiproject Military history coordinator election nominations openNominations for the upcoming project coordinator election are now open. A team of up to ten coordinators will be elected for the next year. The project coordinators are the designated points of contact for issues concerning the project, and are responsible for maintaining our internal structure and processes. They do not, however, have any authority over article content or editor conduct, or any other special powers. More information on being a coordinator is available here. If you are interested in running, please sign up here by 23:59 UTC on 14 September! Voting doesn't commence until 15 September. If you have any questions, you can contact any member of the coord team. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/Metrics/January 2021You're adding entries to Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/Metrics/January 2021. Although it is not harmful to do so (except where users add new entries to the wrong month) it is pointless. The page is maintained by a bot based on the wikipedia article being correctly reflected in wikidata - as, sooner or later, all articles are. Any biog you write will turn up in the WiR metrics. Trust the system. --Tagishsimon (talk) 09:35, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
Unconstructive revert by some other userHi! Thank you for welcoming me on Wikipedia, and giving me the directions to proceed. :) However, I have ran into an another problem. An user that is dedicated to NPOV probably thought my edit on Slavs was ill-intentioned and reverted it without explanation. I undoed his edit, but if it gets reverted again I won't do it again, as I don't want to get possibly sanctioned for edit warring. I understand that he thought this was just another vandalism, but I think that's far from truth. Just because something was removed doesn't necessarily mean it's of bad intention. I do not advocate for any separation of Slavs and "romance" (?) peoples or Germanic peoples (however a lot are just speakers of Germanic languages, similarly to romance languages), actually the opposite, but this article shouldn't include this. Or at least, name them accordingly, "romance and germanic languages speaking peoples". An incorrect paragraph just standing in the text and me knowing that it is not correct makes me want to redact it. But I got reverted without explanation. 178.149.86.8 (talk) 22:31, 19 January 2021 (UTC) Editing news 2021 #1Read this in another language • Subscription list for this newsletter Reply toolThe Reply tool is available at most other Wikipedias.

New discussion toolThe new tool for starting new discussions (new sections) will join the Discussion tools in Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-betafeatures at the end of January. You can try the tool for yourself.[5] You can leave feedback in this thread or on the talk page.
