I don't like IP editors or anonymity in general on Wikipedia. I use my real name on Wikipedia. I suspect that this editor edited while not being signed in to avoid being personally attacked (still not a good reason, but I understand it).
I'm commenting here because I do not believe that ScottishFinnishRadish is an unbiased admin. They have been very involved in the discussions that this editor has commented about. There is no mention that all of the edits were on talk pages (and 5 of 7 edits were on user talk pages). I do not believe that they have violated the WP:DISRUPT policy cited, by definition: "Disruptive editing is a pattern of editing that disrupts progress toward improving an article or building the encyclopedia. The editing pattern may extend over a long time on many articles." This editor believes that other people are impeding progress toward improving Wikipedia (a view I happen to share), and that appears to be their motivation. While their comments are rude and appear to be attacks, a neutral observer might view them as trying to encourage people to improve Wikipedia and/or supporting others who are trying to do so.
I think a different, uninvolved admin should look at the situation and determine if the block is appropriate. A warning might be a more appropriate action.
