85th parallel north

Hey,

This parallel doesn't intersect any piece of land, so I don't think it deserves its own article. I have redirected it back to Arctic Ocean, but you are of course free to disagree, at which point we'll probably have a wider discussion. If you'd like to improve articles on parallels, I'd suggest you look at articles which do intersect land, such as 75th parallel north. Thanks for contributing! Hey Ovinus. Thanks for providing the feedback. Often, the parallels are divided by every five degrees, and that 85° was indeed "much more north" than 80°.
The 84th parallel north is the first such parallel where the entire area from the 84th to the 85th intersect no land, though the northernmost points of land are closer to the 84th rather than the 83rd.
The reason why I included the 85th is that this is the first latitude where it gets totally dark at days near the winter solstice. No northern land ever faces total darkness during winter solstice. All higher latitudes won't really contain much notable information except for the North Pole.
However, the latitudes south of 80° south are still more interesting given that the southernmost extent of the Ross Ice Shelf extends all the way to 85° south, and some of the Transantarctic Mountains extend further south. D'Angelo Bluff, which served as an aircraft landing place, is in the middle 87° latitude south, with a detailed map provided by USGS. There are still interesting landmarks down to the 87° latitude south especially in regard to ice shelves.

Veganism

That would be a great idea. It slightly bothers me that "veganism" is often seen as a variation of "vegetarianism," even though the word "vegan" can apply to a non-diet context.
