Tori Dam is an under-construction gravity dam located near Qalat District of Zabul Province in southern Afghanistan.[2] According to the Ministry of Energy and Water, most of the major work on the project has been completed. Construction of the dam was estimated to cost around 97 million afghanis.[3]

The length of the dam is 70 m (230 ft) and its width 25 m (82 ft). The reservoir can hold up to 2,900,000 m3 (100,000,000 cu ft) of water. After completion, it will irrigate 600 acres of agricultural land. It will also be able to produce 100 kW (130 hp) of electricity.[1] Work on the project was originally prepared in May of 2021.[4]
