Tracy attended the University of Tennessee before he embarked on a professional football career in Canada, where he spent two seasons with the Rough Riders. He was selected an All-Star in his rookie year. He played in two Pro Bowls as a member of the Steelers.[4][5] He was voted as a first team All-Conference All-Pro by the Sporting News for the 1960 season.[6]
In his NFL career, Tracy had 808 carries for 2,912 rushing yards and 17 rushing touchdowns to go with 113 receptions for 1,468 receiving yards and 14 receiving touchdowns.[1]
