Rocío Valentina Aguilarte Batson (born 16 May 1999), known as Tina Batson, is a Venezuelan model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Grand Venezuela 2024 on June 28, 2024, at the Caracas Militar Circle in Caracas.[1] She will represent Venezuela at the Miss Grand International 2025 pageant in Thailand.[2]

Life and career

Early life

Batson was born in Barcelona, Venezuela on 16 May 1999. She is a commercial pilot and a psychologist student.[3][4] In addition, she is fluent in sign language.

She speaks both Spanish, English and German.

Pageantry

Early pageants

Batson began her journey in beauty pageants at the age of 18 by participating in Miss Teen Venezuela 2018, held on June 2, 2018 at the Venetur Hotel on Margarita Island where she obtained third place as Miss Teen Venezuela International, a position that allowed her to compete in Miss Teen International 2018 in Ecuador where she placed as 4th runner-up.

She also was TMF Venezuela 2020.

In 2022 she competed in the Miss Anzoátegui 2022 pageant in order to participate in Miss Venezuela 2022 edition, at the end of the competition she obtained the position of first runner-up.[5][6]

Miss Grand Venezuela 2024

Tina beat 17 other candidates becoming the winner of Miss Grand Venezuela 2024competition held on June 28, 2024.[7] Batson advocated for mental health awareness and youth empowerment throughout her campaign.[8][9]

Miss Grand International 2025

As Miss Grand Venezuela 2024, Batson will compete at Miss Grand International 2025 in Thailand, aiming to continue representing Venezuela and advocate for her causes on a global platform.[8]
