The Tiger and Her Wings (虎に翼 , Tora ni Tsubasa ) [ 1] is a Japanese television drama series and the 110th Asadora series, following Boogie Woogie . The drama is modeled after one of Japan's first female lawyers, Yoshiko Mibuchi , but it is produced as fiction and is an original drama work.[ 2]
Plot
The story begins in the 1930s. Tomoko Inotsume is striving to become an unprecedented female lawyer in Japan by dedicating herself to her studies. However, she faces the obstacles of Japan's laws and society, which often disregard women.
