The Love Clinic
The Love Clinic is a 1969 American sex comedy film written, produced, and directed by Beverly Sebastian and Ferd Sebastian.[1][2][3] "It's a great film," said Ferd Sebastian late in his career.[4] However a 1972 article had him refer to it as "strictly drive in" fare.[5] PremiseA female urologist and a male obstetrician open clinics in the same building. According to Ferd Sebastian, "They have to tell all of their problems to a computer and the computer talks. And she falls in love with the computer!"[4] Cast
ReceptionThe film screened in cinemas in 1969.[6] It also appears to have screened until the title of Marital Fulfilment.[7] It was "a moderate success" at the box office.[8] The Sebastians said they sold the film to Sumner Redstone and it made "a huge amount of money" in Georgia.[4] According to Ferd Sebastian the film is hard to access today because "the lab went bankrupt and all the negatives they had were stolen."[9] References
