ReceptionVariety called it "an L.A. - made sexploiter that finally emerges as a bit more than that by dint of heavy suggestion that middle-aged middle-class wife does not pay enough sexual attention to middle-aged middle-class husband. A cliche... but at least an unusual cliche to be found in sexploiter trapping."[2] The Los Angeles Times said it "is just as sordid and trashy as any ticket buyer could hope yet has some scenes of true merit."[3] References
