Template talk:Transcription factors and intracellular receptorsP300/CBPAs P300/CBP does not directly bind DNA, by definition it is not a transcription factor. Instead, it is properly classified as a transcription coregulator or more specifically a coacivator. Therefore I think P300/CBP should be removed from the Transcription factors nav box. I have created a new Nav box Template:Transcription coregulators which includes P300/CBP. But it doesn't as yet contain enough links to existing Wiki pages to be worthwhile. I will work on creating some new pages. Boghog2 16:33, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Hi, has B3 DNA-binding domain be placed in this Transcription factors template? Redeemer079 (talk) 17:25, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. It seems very reasonable to put domains Ap2, B3 in one 0.5 group. As far as I know, transcription factor RAV1 contains both of them. Redeemer079 (talk) 18:57, 23 March 2008 (UTC) |
