Template talk:Sega video game compilations

Not aiding navigation

I think we can do a better job organizing the compilations. The job of a nav template is to help navigate the user, and the similarity between all of the compilation names makes it very difficult to know which one is which. TarkusABtalk 16:41, 13 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@TarkusAB: I agree. This has potential to be a helpful template, but it isn't at the moment. I can see if I can make it any better. Bchill53 (talk) 20:23, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, be bold and give it a shot. TarkusABtalk 20:25, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Should add on that a lot of those articles are probably not independently notable and could be deleted. TarkusABtalk 20:27, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@TarkusAB: Not worldly better, but it at least has some meaning now. Hopefully more clarity than before. I was originally thinking subheadings like 1990's = blahblah; 2000's = blahblah; 2010's = blahblah. I'd have to learn how to do that though. I saw what I ended up doing here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Walt_Disney_Animation_Studios. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Bchill53 (talk) 21:05, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Bchill53: Sweet I think it looks much better. If you wanted to create subheadings, you could use Template:Treasure video games as a template, but I think what you did is better. TarkusABtalk 21:14, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@TarkusAB: Yes, your example was what I was picturing, but I couldn't find one quickly enough haha. If you think it looks better how it is, I'll leave it. Thanks. :) Bchill53 (talk) 21:20, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
