Was there a link at Margate East to join the Margate Sands line? See {{Chatham Main Line}}. One or the other of these two diagrams is incorrect! Mjroots (talk) 11:09, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Almost: according to
- it was opened circa 1900, closed 1976. At the Margate end the connection to the LCDR faced west, but was east of the bridge. --Redrose64 (talk) 19:34, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
There is a break in the lines below the Dumpton Park entry. Can anyone fix this? Keith D (talk) 19:17, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- If you mean that the solid red changes to dotted red, that is intentional. The line was built by the SR to link the former SER and LCDR systems. --Redrose64 (talk) 21:46, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- No it is the break in the 2 vertical lines that I am speaking about. Looks like the wrapping of Dover on to a second line causing the icons not to meet. Keith D (talk) 22:06, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, I see what you mean - but only if I change my zoom level. At normal zoom (Ctrl+0 in Firefox), the railway lines join correctly, and the text "To Ashford and Dover" is on one unwrapped line. --Redrose64 (talk) 22:51, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
- OK, as you say, at that zoom level but not the one I use. Keith D (talk) 23:21, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
