The problem with the IOC image is that it is copyrighted and policy prevents such images to be used in stub templates. If people prefer not to use the image I've added we must either 1) find a free version of the other image (if such a copy exists?), 2) use something entirely different, e.g. a map?, 3) avoid a stub image altogether. Note that the "new" Orkney flag has not yet been approved by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, therefore it is no more "official" than the previous flag. For the time being, therefore, the previous flag (which is widely used in the isles) should continue to be used.

I see there's been an edit war been "Orkney, UK", and "Orkney, Scotland". Do we have to phone up the Scottish parliament and check if they've seceded, or can the latter text be reinstated now? Alai23:30, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
