Both the initial edits and the revert seem in good faith, just differing template-arrangement concepts. In my experience templates usually contain media about a topic if available, either in a few entries if there aren't too many or in overall links such as Statue of Liberty in popular culture while also linking prominent examples. I don't know if this is a part of a guideline or not, but makes sense so readers interested in the principal topic can learn more about how it has impacted overall society.
