Parameters

Request: is it possible for someone to add capacity for parameters to this tag? In particular would it be possibl to make it suitable for either an article or a section? Currently it doesn't (even) take a date parameter.

WP:EDITORIAL

To "for further details" - Can someone please add WP:EDITORIAL (can't be more relevant than that) instead of perhaps the "original research" (which belongs to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Original_research instead)
