Thanks for that. I have replaced the deleted file with that gif, but I do not hold out hope that the logo is actually available as a free work. – Jonesey95 (talk) 14:59, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In Easter Islan (Chile), change 'Escudo de la Isla de Pascua.svg' to 'Emblem of Easter Island.svg', as the second is the official model used by the Municipality. Thanks. James2813 (talk) 19:13, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please change the value for 'Braunschweig' from 'Wappen Braunschweig.svg' to 'DEU Braunschweig COA.svg'. The latter file is the one used by the city, the former is not. Thank you. --Fippe (talk) 11:57, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The current Czech coat of arms in the template is the lesser arms, which are for internal government use only. For foreign representation of the country, the quartered greater arms (Coat of arms of the Czech Republic.svg) is to be used. Since the page is protected, I would ask that whoever has the rights corrects this. Thank you. --Avenflight (talk) 15:22, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Remove the redundant "Åland=Åland vapen.svg" from 3. CITIES and change "Åland Islands=Aland coat of arms.svg" in 4.fin.1 FINNISH REGIONS [MAAKUNTA] to "Åland=Coat of arms of Åland.svg".
Åland related pages were recently renamed from "Åland Islands" to the more commonly used "Åland" as per Talk:Åland#The title of this article. --Fenn-O-maniC (talk) 16:24, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please change the following?
| Lombardy=Insigne Langobardiae.svg into | Lombardy=Flag_of_Lombardy_square.svg. The real coat of arms of Lombardy is a square, not a shield. See this.
| Sardinia=Arms of Sardinia.svg into | Sardinia=Sardegna-Stemma.svg. See the official document.
| Friuli-Venezia Giulia=Friuli-Venezia Giulia-coat-of-arms.png into | Friuli-Venezia Giulia=CoA of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.svg. See page 10 of this official document.
| Piedmont=Arms of the Prince of Piedmont.svg into | Piedmont=Regione-Piemonte-Stemma.svg. See page 22 of this.
Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. See significant color changes, but nothing on the file pages to indicate which is the official rendition. So to change or not to change will be governed by reliable sources. P.I. Ellsworth , ed.put'er there20:05, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The image (File:Arms of Latvia.svg) I proposed is plain version, it was splited from another image which I got from official PDF, also because I saw something inconsistent after I saw Baltic states. --

At 'Vatican City=Coat of arms of the Vatican City.svg', change 'Coat of arms of the Vatican City.svg' to 'Coat of arms of Vatican City State - 2023 version.svg'. This is because the Holy See has a new coat of arms since June 2023. Source; see Annex B. Veverve (talk) 18:21, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've created a Pastebin (it's a long list) for 4.est.2, adding all parishes. Please note this is a replacement and not merely addition, with outdated files removed.

Pastebin again: https://pastebin.com/S0mA8JL7
Please add this to 4.est.2. As these are urban municipalities, perhaps the category's name could be changed to reflect this (i.e. "municipalities" instead of "parishes"). Or see these added to 3., the cities category in general, if seen as more fitting. MartinusK (talk) 13:04, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yemen's can be made larger with the |size= parameter as in {{Coat of arms/sandbox|Yemen|size=35px}} or Yemen
I could be wrong, but it seems to me to be okay to use a country's emblem as a CoA, because an emblem does appear to (sometimes) serve as a CoA. Also, I don't know what the broad implications are of your "etc." above. How many more are there like this, and what are they? There should probably be a consensus before this goes forward. P.I. Ellsworth , ed.put'er there18:08, 12 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you look in this article: List of coats of arms#Governmental, you will see which countries use "Emblem" or "National emblem" instead of the main term coat of arms. Some entities redirect to Coat of Arms, or vice-versa. Hopefully that helps. ѕιη¢єяєℓу ƒяσм, ᗰOᗪ ᑕᖇEᗩTOᖇ 🏡🗨📝02:43, 14 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
To editor ᗰOᗪ ᑕᖇEᗩTOᖇ: that list is an excellent source for CoAs and emblems. I have added the emblems for Japan and Uzbekistan. Since Yemen already has a coat of arms in this template – Yemen – a consensus of editors will be needed to change that to the emblem . Looking at the list you linked and this talk page and its archive, it appears that there are many entities in that list that are already represented in this template, and that additions have been made as needed in the past. So if an emblem or CoA is required for usage in a map (or wherever), editors have made a request to include it here. Additions appear to be made to this template whenever CoAs are specifically needed and requested. P.I. Ellsworth , ed.put'er there08:53, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Request update CoA Saint-Martin
The Coat of Arms of Saint-Martin did get an update in 2010. This template still uses the old one.

Nowadays the coat of arms of Latvia uses different colors, but the template still uses the outdated version. Please change the image Lesser coat of arms of Latvia (escutcheon).svg to Latvijas Republikas mazais ģerbonis.svg Alter73 (talk) 09:33, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The current coat of arms is on the website of the state organization VDAA, in the government's Telegram channel and in X. Tell me if this is not enough. But you will not wear the coat of arms that is used in the template in any state organization in the country. Alter73 (talk) 09:56, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
