I've been working on List of Canadian students' associations lately, and moving the provinces with vast number's of post-secondary institutions to their own list. Of course on those lists, we even have associations who don't have an article on Wikipedia. The question is, should this template follow that pattern, and be broken up amongst the same lines at the new lists? GreenJoe11:53, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Are there more student associations to be added to the template than what's listed here currently? If there are, then splitting would probably be a good idea, but I'd use the hide-sections format rather than separate templates. Keep in mind that Wikipedia currently has the stated goal of reducing the number of distinct templates on here, because too many of the existing templates duplicate others unnecessarily. I'm not altogether sure that the current size of the template necessitates a breakup, however. Bearcat (talk) 17:48, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with you on this, Bearcat. I wasn't sure though, that's why I put out the question. Thank you both for your feedback. GreenJoe18:03, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
