Teelba is a rural locality in the Maranoa Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Teelba had a population of 82 people.[1] GeographyTeelba is a watershed. In the north of the locality, Murilla Creek flows north into the Condamine River drainage basin, while in the south the Teelba Creek flows south into the Moonie River drainage basin.[3] HistoryTeelba Creek State School opened on 5 July 1965, but was renamed Teelba State School on 24 September 1965.[4] DemographicsIn the 2016 census, Teelba had a population of 44 people.[5] In the 2021 census, Teelba had a population of 82 people.[1] EducationTeelba State School is a government primary (Prep-6) school for boys and girls at Teelba Road just north of the crossing of Teelba Creek.
