Tanya Desai is an Indian actress and model.[1][2][3][4] She is mainly known for her roles in Crackdown, Street Light, Godman, and Zero Kilometre.[5][6][7][8] She also acted as a lead model in various music videos.
Early life
Desai was born in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and brought up in Delhi.[3] After her schooling in Ghaziabad, she shifted to Delhi for college. She dance training in and she was also an instructor in the same institute.[1]
Career
Before starting her career as an actress in films and web series, she started as a background dancer in films. Later,
she did television shows like Crime Petrol, Crime Alert, CID,Dil Dosti Dance, and Savdhan India.[1][9] She also worked as a lead model in music videos like Rabb Wargeya, Yaar Di Jaago, Hot Jawani, and Selfie.[3]
In 2020, Desai made her acting debut with the web series Crackdown. In the same year, she played the lead character Maya in the Tamil web series Godman.[10][11]
In 2021, she acted as the lead in the film Street Light.[12]
In the same year, she acted in Zero Kilometre and got the Outstanding Achievement Award at the World Film Carnival Singapore Awards.[13]
Her new web series Jaghanya Kuttey Ki Maut was released on Ullu App.[14]
