15°29′50″N 73°46′02″E / 15.4972787°N 73.7672184°E / 15.4972787; 73.7672184 Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, formerly Fort Aguada Beach Resort, is built on the crescent of the beach at Sinquerim, in Goa, India. The hotel is part of the chain hotels of Taj Group of Hotels.

The Exotica is the "most plush" of the Taj group's four hotels in Goa, the 143 room property overlooks the beach and features amenities ranging form cricket grounds to an Ayurvedic spa.[1] The Hotel stands in a 56-acre beachfront property[2]

The current General Manager is Ms. Megha Bhatia.

Kokum is the all-day dining multi cuisine restaurant. It also houses papermoon which is a flagship Italian restaurant run by Chef Aashutosh. Morisco & Martini Bar serve goan thalis during lunch and a wide range of exotic cocktails. The SFX bar offers innovative cocktails and a wide range of spirits, it's unique selling point is the unparalleled views of the Arabian Sea.

The morning complimentary buffet includes eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, dosa, pancake, waffles, idli, poori, croissant, cut fruits, fruit juices, cold coffee, tea, coffee, toast, nuts and much more. The timings of buffet are from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Rohit Samant is the Food and Beverage Manager, Chef Dibendyu Roy is the Executive Chef, Mr. Arvind is the Head of Finance Department.

Banquet venues in the property are The Sunset Point, The Bayview Lawns, Fishtail, The Aguada Ballroom and Halstead Hall.

History

The hotel opened in 1974 as the Taj Fort Aguada Beach Resort & Spa at the site of the historic Portuguese Fort Aguada.[3] For many years, it was the sole first class hotel in Goa.[4]

The hotel completed it's 50 year anniversary on 24th December, 2025.
