The current iteration of the Philippines' longest-running noontime variety and entertainment show Eat Bulaga!, co-produced by TVJ Productions and TV5, premiered on July 1, 2023, which replaced the latter's simulcast of ABS-CBN Studios' noontime show It's Showtime after it was moved to All TV,[6]GMA Network[7] and GTV.[8] The show was then known by its placeholder title E. A. T., pending a trademark dispute between TAPE, Inc. and TVJ Productions which eventually concluded in favor of the latter.[9][10][11]
Apart from Eat Bulaga!, the company is exploring other production interests for the possible revival of Iskul Bukol.
Since 2024, the production started to produce its Lenten Drama Special for Eat Bulaga!, a tradition that was already started when the show was still produced by TAPE Inc.. The production is the first edition to broadcast on TV5, ending its 28-year stint with GMA Network and 42-year stint with TAPE Inc., following the departure of the original host from the said network and production company on May 31, 2023.
As per Philstar.com, MediaQuest Holdings, a media conglomerate owned by Manny V. Pangilinan, through MQuest Ventures agreed to acquire more than half (51%), a majority of company shares of the production company owned by TVJ themselves.[12]
