The team in 2022 have won 2022 CECAFA U-17 Championship for the first time and they have qualified to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Algeria.[4] The nation yet to qualified in the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Current squadThe following players were named in the squad for the 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations between 29 April – 19 May.[5][6] Caps and goals are correct as of 2 May 2023, after the match against Congo.
