Schizothorax taliensis is a species of cyprinid fish.[2] It inhabits Erhai Lake in Yunnan, China.[2] It has a maximum length among unsexed males of 30.0 cm (11.8 in),[2] a common length among unsexed males of 20.0 cm (7.9 in)[2] and a maximum published weight of 200 g (0.44 lb).[2] It was described by Charles Tate Regan in 1907, is considered harmless to humans and has not been classified on the IUCN Red List.[2]
