Provincial highway in Saskatchewan, Canada
Highway 247 is a provincial highway in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan's 200-series highways primarily service its recreational areas. The highway follows the course of the Qu'Appelle River running east from Highway 47 to Highway 9. It is about 50 kilometres (31 mi) long.[1]
Along Highway 247's route, it passes by Crooked and Round Lakes, passes through Crooked Lake Provincial Park,[2] and provides access to several communities, including Grenfell Beach, Melville Beach, Exner's Twin Bays, Moose Bay, Sunset Beach, West End, Pelican Shores, and Bird's Point Resort.
