Saruq District (Persian: بخش ساروق) is in Arak County, Markazi province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Saruq.[3]

History

After the 2006 National Census, Saruq Rural District was separated from the Central District in the formation of Saruq District.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2011 census, the district's population was 11,328 people in 3,427 households.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 10,491 inhabitants in 3,373 households.[2]
