Sara Tomko (born October 19, 1983)[ 1] is an American actress known for playing Asta Twelvetrees in the science-fiction comedy series Resident Alien .[ 3]
Early life
Tomko was born on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio , into a military family,[ 2] and is of Polish and Slovak descent.[ 1] She has stated that she is also of Native American descent, though she is not enrolled in any specific tribe.[ 4] She was classically trained as a singer[ 2] and attended James Madison University , graduating with a BA in theatre and dance.[ 5]
Career
Tomko is known for her roles as Asta Twelvetrees on Syfy 's Resident Alien and Tiger Lily on ABC 's Once Upon a Time .[ 6] [ 7] [ 8] [ 9] [ 10] She has also appeared in S.W.A.T. , The Leftovers ,[ 11] Heartbeat , Sneaky Pete , and more.[ 12] She has additionally had roles in the films The Terminators (2009), Extracted (2012), and 400 Days (2015), among others.[ 13] [ 12] [ 14]
Personal life
Tomko has been married to director Theodore Pederson since 2021.[ 15]
