Sara Tomko (born October 19, 1983)[1] is an American actress known for playing Asta Twelvetrees in the science-fiction comedy series Resident Alien.[3]

Early life

Tomko was born on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio, into a military family,[2] and is of Polish and Slovak descent.[1] She has stated that she is also of Native American descent, though she is not enrolled in any specific tribe.[4] She was classically trained as a singer[2] and attended James Madison University, graduating with a BA in theatre and dance.[5]

Career

Tomko is known for her roles as Asta Twelvetrees on Syfy's Resident Alien and Tiger Lily on ABC's Once Upon a Time.[6][7][8][9][10] She has also appeared in S.W.A.T., The Leftovers,[11] Heartbeat, Sneaky Pete, and more.[12] She has additionally had roles in the films The Terminators (2009), Extracted (2012), and 400 Days (2015), among others.[13][12][14]

Personal life

Tomko has been married to director Theodore Pederson since 2021.[15]
