At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 3,211 in 690 households.[5] There were 3,054 inhabitants in 797 households at the following census of 2011.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 2,395 in 691 households. The most populous of its 26 villages was Firuzabad, with 489 people.[2]
