Four festivals are celebrated at the lake every year on the full-moon days of Baisakh Purnima, Rishi Purnima, Kartik Purnima and Mangsir Purnima.[1][2]
The lake is visited by Kirat, Hindu, and Buddhist pilgrims.[3]
