Saint Magdalen, Indiana
Saint Magdalen is an extinct town in Shelby Township, Ripley County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. It has no permanent residents anymore and is considered a ghost town. HistoryA post office opened under the name Saint Magdalen in 1871, and remained in operation until 1905.[2] The community was named after Mary Magdalene.[3] GeographySaint Magdalen was located within the present-day boundaries of Big Oaks National Wildlife Refuge.
