Sainik School Gothra, is located in village of Gothra Tappa Khori of Rewari District of Haryana state, is one of 33 Sainik Schools in India.[6][7][8][9] The Principal is Capt(IN) Brij Kishore , the Vice-Principal is Wg Cdr Sunaina Chahar 1& Adm Officer is Maj Jai Singh Rathore .[10]
Sainik School Rewari, located in Village Gothra Tappa Khori, Rewari, Haryana, was inaugurated on August 29, 2008, by the then Defence Minister of India, A.K. Antony. Established under the Sainik school scheme introduced in 1961, the school aims to prepare young boys for the National Defence Academy (NDA). Its first principal, Col Ashok Kaul, laid the foundation of its academic and military training standards. The school has eight houses named after prominent Indian Armed Forces dignitaries, including Subroto House, Arjan House, Cariappa House, Manekshaw House, Katari House, and Pereira House. Additionally, there are two junior houses, Kargil and Rezang-la, named after significant battles in Indian history. The completion of Phase-I construction in February 2020 marked a milestone in the school's development, and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar approved INR 20.83 crore for Phase-II construction the same year. The school also welcomed the Golden Victory Torch, symbolizing the Indian Army's triumph in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, further cementing its pride in national defense.

Sainik School Rewari is well-structured with a dedicated team of housemasters who play a pivotal role in shaping the character and leadership qualities of its cadets. The school is divided into several houses, each named after distinguished military figures and historical battles. Subroto House is led by Murli Manohar (PGT), Manekshaw House by Hemant Kumar (PGT), and Pereira House by Vipin Sharma (PGT). Arjan House is managed by Neeraj Kumar Kaushik (PGT), while Cariappa House and Katari House are overseen by Amit Gaurav Sharma (TGT) and Dinesh Kumar Mahlan (TGT), respectively. The junior houses, Kargil and Rezang-la, are under the guidance of Vijay Kumar Dwivedi (TGT) and Arvind Kumar Bhardwaj (TGT). Senior Master Gajendra Singh Chauhan (PGT) further supports the academic and disciplinary standards of the institution, ensuring a well-rounded education for the cadets.

Learning outcome
Joining NDA is an ambition for most of the students. In Sept 2018, 40 cadets of Sainik School Rewari had passed the NDA written exam and proceeded to SSB Interview phase.
NDA selection is done in two stages: a single competitive examination for all three forces, followed by an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board. An entrance examination is conducted to select students.[14]

Sainik School, Kunjpura, first in haryana and among first five sainik schools in india was established in 1961.[15]
Sainik School, Matanhail at Matanhail in Jhajjar district was announced by the Haryana govt in 2018. Foundation stone was laid in 2003 by the then Defence Minister George Fernandez, but no progress was made. In 2018, with the efforts of Haryana Finance Minister, Captain Abhimanyu, the BJP govt of Haryana agreed to provide funds and 100 acre land in Matanhail and Rudiyawas villages for the establishment of this school.[16] With this Haryana will be only state in India with 3 sainik schools.[17]
