SIMAD University is a non-profit university based in Mogadishu, Somalia. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Ranked as a leading higher education institution in Somalia, SIMAD offers students an ideal environment to pursue their academic studies, priding itself on excellent infrastructure and state of the art technology located on a peaceful and collegial campus.
History
In 1999, SIMAD was established as an institute of higher learning. After 11 years, the board of trustees upgraded the institute into a full-fledged university on January 20, 2011.[1]
