Ryan Sullivan (artist)
Ryan Sullivan (born 1983)[1][2] is an American painter.[3] BiographySullivan attended the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and graduated in 2005.[4][5] Sullivan worked as a painting assistant to Ross Bleckner and Laura Owens.[5] His first solo exhibition was in 2015 at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami.[5] Sullivan has exhibited at various museums and galleries worldwide, including The High Line,[6] MoMA PS1;[7] Kunstmuseum Bonn;[8] Hydra Workshop, Greece, Flag Art Foundation, New York;[9] Sadie Coles HQ, London;[5][10] Maccarone, New York;[11] Rubell Family Foundation, Miami;[12] White Flag Projects, Saint Louis;[13] and Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Rome.[14] In 2013, he was artist-in-residence at Chinati Foundation, Marfa, Texas[15] and the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, Captiva, Florida.
