Ribes magellanicum is a South American species of shrubs in the currant family, found in Patagonia (southern Chile and Argentina).[3][4][5]

Two subspecies are accepted:[1]

  • Ribes magellanicum subsp. magellanicum
  • Ribes magellanicum subsp. parviflorum Sparre
