Genus of lichens
Pyrenopsis is a genus of lichen -forming fungi in the family Lichinaceae . It contains 12 species.[ 1] The genus was circumscribed by the Finnish lichenologist William Nylander in 1858.[ 2]

As of January 2024[update] , Species Fungorum (in the Catalogue of Life ) accept 12 species of Pyrenopsis .[ 1]
