Preakuammicine is a terpeneindolealkaloid.[2] Preakuammicine is thought to be formed from 4,21-dehydrogeissoschizine and lead to synthesis of stemmadenine. The enzymes involved in preakuammicine formation and those which use it as a substrate are currently unknown.
