Port Khalid also The Port of Khalid[2][3] (Arabic: ميناء خالد) is the Sharjah Ports[4]' flagship deepwater port. It is a gateway to Sharjah and handles all of the emirate’s container traffic. The transfer of container traffic from Port Khorfakkan and Hamriyah Port was completed in 1976.[1]

The Port of Khalid is in the heart of Sharjah city, The Port of Khalid is considered a pioneer seaport of the United Arab Emirates region, boasting the first container terminal, roll-on/roll-off cargo terminal, and free trade terminal.[5][6]
