Polasara Assembly constituency
Polasara is a Vidhan Sabha constituency of Ganjam district, Odisha.[2] This constituency includes Polasara, Buguda, Polasara block and Buguda block.[3][4] The constituency was formed in 2008 Delimitation[5] and went for polls in 2009 election. Election results2024Voting were held on 20th May 2024 in 2nd phase of Odisha Assembly Election & 5th phase of Indian General Election. Counting of votes was on 4th June 2024.[9]
2019In 2019 election, Biju Janata Dal candidate Srikanta Sahu defeated Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Gokula Nanda Mallik by a margin of 12,739 votes.
2014In 2014 election, Biju Janata Dal candidate Srikant Sahu defeated Indian National Congress candidate Gokul Nanda Mallik by a margin of 21,217 votes.[12]
2009In 2009 election, Biju Janata Dal candidate Niranjan Pradhan defeated Indian National Congress candidate Ram Krushna Patnaik by a margin of 11,322 votes.[15]
